He is well known as well for his projects for a magazine ,,Ray Gun''. He has an unique way of doing graphic design and he was driven by his own thoughts and intuition, no letting anybody to telling him how to do stuff. He wrote various of books related to his designs such as The End of Print (with Lewis Blackwell).

A lot of magazines wrote about him in various of ways about his work, but always in a good way. He was doing the work for a lot of famous clients such as: American Express, AT&T, Atlantic Records, Budweiser, CNN, Levi's, MTV, Sony, Toyota, Warner Bros, Xerox, etc.
