Neville Brody 1

Nevile Brody was very significant designer at the 80s. At the early age he was studying graphic design but his first experimenting which was really significant to his career is when he became Director of Fetish.

 Through experimenting with magazines and visual languages he started to combine them with architectural elements and established his appearance as the one of the world's leading graphic designers.

He always wanted to create something innovative, unique, something new.. Every piece of his designs, especially for magazines was something innovative and non-commercial, so everybody else started copying him and using his layout as their own. He is one of the designers who won the acclaim for the consumer-oriented graphic of the eighties, and much more for his innovative work with typefaces. After the acclaims he realised and started creating his own typefaces, what is one of the reason that makes him what he is today.

He was working for a lot of famous companies, such as Berlin's Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Greenpeace, Japanese companies Men's Bigi and Parco, the Dutch Postal Service, the German cable channel Premiere and Austria's ORF TV Channel. As he developed through history, Brody now work with electronic communication design but still gives a i importance to creating unique and striking digital typefaces.
